`rsi:

`rsi: is an online gaming clan based in Nottingham, England. The clan currently specializes in Counter-Strike: Source.

Before before the Beginning

Somewhat way before the beginning, before Christmas 2006, Quas ventured on a visit to a friends house; Liam which he had got to known through a close childhood friend; Lawrence. The main reason Quas remembered Liam, was because at his Liams old house, during the winter season, a rather large block of ice was thrown at Quas' face by none other than the BBC 1 East Midland reporters (Domonic) son; Matthew.

Liam then moved during 2004 / 2005 closer to Quas, on a road which he knew, as another friend he knew lived there. The two were eventually brought closer together through Lawrence, as the three used to ride bicycles in Bestwood, througout 2005. Liam rarely rode the dirt jumps, but was there for the comical value.

During the following year, Quas slept at Liams house (whose game name at the time was CRACKERS) and Liam introduced CS Source surfing to Quas.

In September 2006, CRACKERS, (whose game name at that time was PHEARRR) was involved in a bicycle accident, which Quas and his friend Lawrence never got to see, but could perfectly imagine. The result of this accident was a broken leg, and time off school until December. This was unfortunate as it was his final year at school, and he missed the bulk of the year.

Quasimoto increased his time round at Liams, and got to know the basics of surfing.

For 2006 Christmas, Quas received a PC which he still has to this present day. He immediately managed to obtain a non-steam version of CS Source, and precisely 23 days later, ordered a genuine version from Amazon

Before the Beginning

IOn January 17th, Quas ordered a PC video game entitled CS:Source from Amazon.co.uk, (this was the original Game-Of-The-Year edition, which included Half-Life 2 also) and it arrived precisely 4 days afterwards. It was installed on his computer, and not a lot was said. He played on various UK servers, gradually making his first virtual friends on the [WCUK] server, Riley and Shifty.

His friend, PHEARR (whose game name at that time was BAD^^MAN) began to play with him on various servers, mainly the Online Assault 24/7 Office server (for those that don't know this wasn't 24/7 cs_office, it was on a rotor of cs_office07, cs_office_unlimited, cs_office_extended and many other office spinn-offs.) Another server was the {FUNKY} server which PHEARR introduced to Quasimoto.

Quas literally licked this server, friending many players, who remembered him. He made a small name for himself after playing for 8 months on the same server. Mid-2007, his playing name was keylikesfood, however, on de_nuke he dediced to change it to Quasimoto, just out-of-blue. Funnily enough, a few moments he was invited to join a clan by Bw (BlackWidow) entitled god. He accepted the offer and as this was his first official didn't really know what to expect. Bw explained that their server and website was down, and Quas realized a year later that they never really had one. god.Quasimoto was born.

However, during July 2007, due to a ridiculous idea from Metal, (the admin off gfxdugout.com - now down.) Quas dediced to install Linux, and install CS:S onto that. Unfortunately, during installation Quas realized he had installed to the wrong hard drive (as he wanted to dual-boot with XP also.) Quas had to reformat his PC, and lost CS Source, and wireless internet for over 1 month, he moved his PC downstairs to obtain direct internet access. His friend Liam had changed his name from BAD^^MAN, to PRIESTY.

Due to the fact Quas had not played Source for over one month, moving a mouse was a foreign movement. He explains and regrets installing Linux in the first place. When he commenced gaming the {FUNKY} server had changed drastically and there were so many new faces. This was around the time Quasimoto lost interest in the game and focused more time on education.

In the Beginning

There was the start, despite was you may think this is important, because without Liam, a PC and a {FUNKY} server, the `rsi: clan would never had been formed.

Another friend of Quas'; JiNK (P35M3RGA at the time) began playing non-steam CS Source on his Acer laptop he had bought. JiNK explained that he had joined a clan, and Quasimoto also applied too, as he realized the god. clan had died.

The rob schneider is clan started out around august 2007 time, just after Quas' birthday, when the three founding members; Quas, P35 and g30, were at Quas' birthday party, doing what they do best; getting high.

On the TV was a rarity; MTV. South Park, Season 6 episode 13 to be precise. P35 had previously seen this episode, and told Quas and g30 about the ROB SCHNEIDER IS A CARROT, STAPLER, KENNY, DA DERP DE DERPY - RATED PG13, to which they replied in ludicrous laughter.

It got to the point where the body of Kenny is expelled from Cartmans body via Chef's Mothers spells. At this point, the illegally acquired NTL television box froze, so we never go to see the remaining rob schneider skits. We got back to playing Source, playing under names such as, ROB SCHNEIDER IS A CARROT, and similiar names, which was then shortened into tags, such as [RSC] and {RSI}

Eventually, after discussion at school; ` was added by accident, the letter were typed in lower case, and a colon was added at the end forming; `rsi:

After the Beginning

A while later, in the middle of November, PRIESTY was invovled in a road traffic accident on his moped, which could have been avoided if it was not for Quas, who sold him a mobile telephone (Nokia 6230i) which PRIESTY accidently thought to be unlocked, despite the fact Quas emphasised the fact it was locked to Orange. Quas had lost contact with PRIESTY for a while, until one day when he signed in on MSN, explaining he had been in an RTA, as he attempted to get his phone unlocked in town. Quas denies any responsibility.

Friends of the three founding members who shared the same interests in video gaming were informed about the clan. None of them had any experience with CS Source, and all borrowed a non steam disc from P35, which to the day he has not had returned. The people it was lent to rarely played, but in December 2007, a LAN party was hosted at Quas' house, bringing 2 new members to the clan.

Sometime in 2008

What had initially been formed as a clan purely for fun, eventually turned into a competitive clan, as explained below.

In the beginning of 2008, `rsi: began to recruit members. Many joined, and many were kicked, `rsi: claimed they were looking for the right kind of person. It was only on the 1st July when the team roster was filled, and they stopped recruiting.
